Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we don't, and what happens to your data.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the DayBriefAI website and the purchase flow for the Executive Brief Kit. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

  • Lead form (the sample brief page): name, email, optional company size and role.
  • Checkout: name, email, billing details. Payments and checkout data are handled by our payment processor (currently Lemon Squeezy). We do not see or store card details.
  • Site analytics: aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cross-site tracking cookies.

3. What we don't collect

We do not receive or process your Microsoft 365 data. The Kit's Claude skill runs inside your own Claude environment, against your own M365 connector. Brief content stays between you, Claude, and Microsoft. We have no visibility into it.

4. Why we collect it

  • To deliver the sample brief PDF you requested.
  • To deliver the Kit you purchased and to support that purchase.
  • To send a short post-purchase email sequence (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve the site (aggregate analytics only).

5. How long we keep it

Lead and customer records are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary to support you and to meet our tax and consumer-law obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see §7).

6. Who we share it with

  • Lemon Squeezy: payments, receipts, VAT/GST handling.
  • Cloudflare: hosting and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process IP addresses in transit; logs are short-lived.
  • Email service provider: to send receipts and the post-purchase sequence. We will name this provider here once integrated.
  • We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@daybriefai.com. Under the Privacy Act you may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. International data transfers

Our processors (Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare) operate globally and may process data outside Australia. We choose processors that publish industry-standard data-protection commitments.

9. Changes

Updates to this Policy are posted on this page with a new "Updated" date. Material changes are flagged in the next post-purchase or update email.

10. Contact
